Privacy & Cookies
Glitchest is built privacy-first. Your videos and images are processed entirely on your own device and are never uploaded to any server. There's no account to create and nothing to sign in to.
Your media never leaves your device
Effects are rendered locally with WebGL and exported in the browser with WebCodecs. The files you load — and the MP4s and PNGs you export — stay on your computer. We never receive, store, or see them.
Cookies we use
Glitchest uses one optional category of cookies:
- Analytics (optional). If you accept, we load Google Analytics to count visits and see which features are used, so we can improve the tool. IP addresses are anonymised. These cookies are not loaded until you click Accept on the cookie banner — decline and no analytics cookies are ever set.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don't sell any data.
Changing your choice
Your consent is stored locally in your browser. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser settings (which resets the banner), then choose again. On a shared or public computer, declining is the safest option.
Third parties
If you accept analytics, data is processed by Google Analytics under Google's own privacy terms. Stock photos and clips shown in guides are credited to their authors (e.g. via Pexels) under their respective licenses. Outbound links (such as our Instagram) are governed by those sites' policies.
